Airbnb Host Gets Rapped After Multiple Complaints
A Huntsville Airbnb “fails the litmus test” to have the license reinstated without probation according to Huntsville Councillor Jonathan Wiebe.
During a Huntsville Special General Committee Meeting on Thursday, April 15, councillors deliberated the appeal by the two hosts and their property manager.
The Airbnb hosts recently received three complaints and their three patrons were ticketed by Ontario Provincial Police for breaking lockdown rules. According to the owners, neighbours called the police because there was a car in the driveway and that was unusual.
The license was initially revoked, then reinstated and finally put on probation, only to get appealed to have the probation upheld.
