Aitchison Announces Thompson To Become Campaign Chair
Huntsville Mayor Scott Aitchison who is running as the Conservative nominee in the federal election, announced last night that Holly Thompson – a competitor for the nomination - has accepted the position as Campaign Chair for his general election campaign.
Aitchison says that “Holly’s enthusiasm, ideas, organizing skills and strong conservative values make her an invaluable addition to our campaign team. With her offer to join our campaign, she is helping to ensure unity among Conservative party members in Parry Sound- Muskoka with the sole aim of winning the coming election” he said.
Thompson says they need to come together as Conservatives and focus on sending a candidate to Ottawa that will restore responsible government and represent the constituents of Parry Sound-Muskoka.
The campaign gets underway with the ribbon cutting for the campaign office in Bracebridge on Tuesday August 6th at 5:30pm
