Beaver Creek Inmates Will Help Fix Bracebridge's Graffiti Problem
Expect to see inmates of Beaver Creek Institution on the streets this spring tackling Bracebridge’s graffiti problem.
During the most recent Bracebridge general committee meeting, Coun. Rick Maloney provided councillors with an update on a proposal to recruit work gangs from Beaver Creek Institution to help clean up graffiti in Bracebridge.
Maloney said there have been talks with the minimum security facility and the plan is likely to unfold in spring of 2019.
The idea was first floated earlier this year after a rash of graffiti incidents in the downtown core.
