Bracebridge Allocates Flood Relief Assistance Payments
The Town of Bracebridge announced that $45,000 of $47,000 collected for flood relief assistance has been allocated to 27 recipients who applied for financial assistance.
After detailed review, the town announced that the payments will be sent to recipients on October 17th.
The Flood Relief Committee further authorized the remaining $2,000 to be allocated, if needed, at the discretion of the Town’s Director of Finance/Treasurer, in consultation with the Chief Administrative Officer
Mayor Graydon Smith said “On behalf of the citizens of Bracebridge, members of Council and Town Staff, I would like to sincerely thank the 2019 Flood Relief Committee members for their time and dedication to their community.”
