Bracebridge Allows Some Off Road Vehicles To Plow In The Downtown Core
The Town of Bracebridge is going to allow off-road vehicles to plow snow in the downtown core, but they’ll still be banned in that area for private plowing.
During the latest Bracebridge general committee meeting council signed off on the move, which will allow commercial snow plowers to get the proper approval to work in parts of town where they were previously restricted.
Mayor Graydon Smith said he had just fielded a phone call from a snow removal company that morning worried they could be targeted for using off-road vehicles to plow snow.
Staff confirmed the exemptions only apply to commercial operators and not other off-road vehicles.
