Bracebridge Sees Record Number Of Visitors
The Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce recently reported that their visitor centre is on track to have a record year.
During the most recent council meeting, councilors heard in a report that the visitors centre, which is located in the Bird’s Mills Mews reported some 11,066 inquires in 2018. As of the end of September the centre was already up to 10,921, with October expect to be one of the busiest months of the year.
It was noted that 2018 was already a record breaking year for tourists and 2019 will likely eclipse that by a significant margin.
In August of this year alone, the centre fielded 3,790 inquires, the most for a single month in five years.
Anecdotally, Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Brenda Rhodes also reports business owners in Bracebridge have indicated strong sales throughout the summer months.
