Candidates declare all over Muskoka

Nominations for the municipal elections have just opened, and already we have candidates.
In Gravenhurst, Marc Mantha, who ran in the last Federal Election, has filed his papers for the position of mayor. Incumbent Paul Kelly has said he won’t be running.
In Bracebridge, District Councilor Don Smith filed his papers for District, and in Huntsville, Helena Renwick has filed for the Huntsville Ward. Renwick ran last time out, narrowly missing a seat at District.
Nominations are open until August 19th.
