Cops Catch Driver Going Twice The Posted Speed Limit With An Open Container Of Liquor
Yesterday, just after 1a.m., Police (OPP) noticed a vehicle travelling on Taylor Road in Bracebridge at a very high rate of speed with no lights on. Police say the vehicle turned onto Cedar Lane and sped past the OPP detachment at more than twice the posted speed limit.
The officer was able to stop the vehicle and conducted an investigation that resulted in 22 year-old Taylor Forester of Bracebridge, being charged with Stunt Driving, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Novice Driver with a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) Above Zero and Driving a Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Alcohol.
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on October 08, 2019 to answer to his charges.
