Debbie Kirwin Recognized By Huntsville For Her Contributions
Debbie Kirwin was recognized by the Town of Huntsville at Monday’s council meeting for her contributions to making life more accessible for residents of the town and the province.
Kirwin has been the Chair of the Accessibility Advisory Committee for the last 5 council terms spanning over 15 years.
Mayor Scott Aitchison said that she was a transformative voice across the province and her work would be hard to quantify.
Kirwin was presented a Canadian Flag that flew at town hall before being retired. She is the first citizen in Huntsville to receive the honour.
