Decision day in Muskoka Parry Sound
It’s decision day in Ontario as voters cast their ballots after a fast-paced election campaign. Party leaders have toured the province, unveiling their platforms and making last-minute appeals to voters.
This winter election has presented unique challenges, with candidates braving icy sidewalks and snowstorms. Meanwhile, Premier Doug Ford made two trips to Washington, D.C., during the campaign, defending Ontario’s interests against potential U.S. tariffs. Opposition leaders argue the election was unnecessary, as Ford’s government already held a strong majority.
In Parry Sound-Muskoka, you will see six names on the ballot.
Incumbent Graydon Smith is running for the Progressive Conservatives. Matt Richter is representing the Green Party, while Jim Ronholm is running for the NDP. David Innes is the Liberal candidate, Brandon Nicksy is representing the New Blue Party, and Helen Kroeker is running for the Ontario Party.
