Developer Asks To Add More Townhouses To Huntsville Subdivision
A Huntsville developer is seeking a major addition to their subdivision plans.
During this week’s District of Muskoka council meeting, councillors heard that Rayville Developments plans to increase the number of townhouses in their subdivision off Chaffey Township Road in Huntsville.
Phase One of the project included 30 townhouses and is now completed. The second phase of the project was originally approved for 28 more townhouses. However, on Monday council heard that Rayville now wants 47 lots, with each one containing one townhouse dwelling unit. Under the new plan, another two blocks are proposed for open space and parkland purposes.
The proposal is currently being studied.
