District Clerk Calls It a Career
District clerk Debbie Crowder was given her due on Monday evening as she attended her final Muskoka District council meeting as clerk.
Crowder has been with the District municipality for more than 30 years and served as the clerk for the past decade. She will formally retire next week.
She was lauded by several councillors for her years of service to the District.
District chair John Klinck paused the meeting to make a special presentation to Crowder and thanked her for her work ethic, adherence to the rules and for making the District of Muskoka a better place to work.
