Fire & Ice This Weekend
The popular Fire and Ice Festival is set to return for a fourth year to downtown Bracebridge on Saturday
Three shuttle buses will now be running three separate routes and tickets to the event will be sold on the busses to cut back on lineups at the event. New this year, Fire and Ice will also feature The Great Canadian Lumberjack Show, live wood carving demonstration and a post-event parking lot party at the Griffin Gastropub.
The centerpiece of the event is the massive snow tubing hill creating by dumping 50 truckloads of snow in the middle of Bracebridge’s main street.
There will also be fire artists and a fireworks display, as well as interactive ice displays, ice sculpture carvings, and a large children's igloo activity centre. There are Birds of Prey presentations, a road hockey tournament and traditional carnival activities.
