Firefighters respond to structure fire at marina

The Muskoka Lakes Fire Dept. report that at 5am this morning firefighters from Bala, Torrance and Walkers Point responded to a structure fire at Nine Mile Marina in Bala.

The Fire Dept. says a boat on a trailer was consumed by fire and lit the wall of a nearby garage.

Crews confirmed the fire was out with thermal imaging and cleared at 7 am.

There is no estimate of damage, and no one was hurt in the fire.
