Four Youths Charged After Stealing Land Rover
On Sunday just after 1:00am OPP stopped a vehicle for a Highway Traffic infraction on Cora St. in Huntsville.
Police say that the driver was unlicensed and that the Land Rover he was driving was stolen from the Huntsville area. Inside the vehicle, Police recovered stolen property that had been removed from other vehicles in the area.
As a result the 3 male suspects who were 15 and 16 years-old that were in the vehicle have been charged with:
• Theft Over $5000.00 - Motor Vehicle,
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
The driver faces a further charge of Driving a Motor Vehicle-No Licence.
Police say a 15 year-old female passenger in the vehicle faces charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
All 4 suspects cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on July 3, 2018 to answer to their charges.
