Georgian Working To Maintain Programming In Muskoka
Georgian College says it will continue to work hard to secure additional funding for their campuses in Owen Sound and Muskoka to ensure they are sustainable given an announcement yesterday to eliminate free tuition for low-income students.
The college says it realizes that the Government of Ontario has a difficult job and these are challenging times. They say it was reassuring that college operating grants will be maintained.
MaryLynn West-Moynes, President and CEO, Georgian College “My first priority will be to support our students. Both incoming and current students will have many questions about how these changes will affect them in both the short and medium term.”
Georgian says it will work closely with students and support them as they work to understand the changes.
