Gravenhurst's Farmers' Market Manager Retires After 30 Years
Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market manager is saying farewell after 30 years in the position.
Having been market manager since the annual event began, Pat Loewen announced her retirement last month.
During the Gravenhurst Council meeting on May 18, kind words and well wishes about Loewen were shared. Councillor Sandy Cairns said she enjoyed the touch that Loewen put on the market and the friendly atmosphere.
According to Loewen, the Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market should see double the vendors this year, after COVID-19 caused a decline in 2020. Loewen’s replacement has not yet been announced.
