Guidelines Released For Marijuana in the Workplace
With Marijuana set to be legalized for recreational use as of October 17th, Workplace Safety & Prevention Services Ontario released a basic guideline on what to do when dealing with marijuana in the workplace,
Prior to legalization, marijuana has been the most prevalently used illicit drug in Canada.
The guideline is meant to answer questions such as how you define impairment when it comes to work, what types of tasks are safety sensitive, and other key concerns that leadership will likely have to deal with when the legislation passes.
