Health Unit Says Trick Or Treating Good To Go With Precautions
The Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit gave the go-ahead with conditions yesterday for Halloween Trick or Treating. The announcement is based on the current situation and could change if the case counts take a turn for the worse according to Dr. Charles Gardiner, the Unit’s Medical Officer of Health
Gardiner also advised that only symptom free children should be out trick-or-treating, anyone with symptoms, should stay home. The same rules apply to people shelling out candy.
Gardiner stressed that a face mask should still be worn while trick or treating.
