Huntsville Hosts National Indigenous People's Day
The Town of Huntsville is holding their annual celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day with a special event on the evening of June 21st.
Huntsville has been celebrating June 21 annually with various events and indigenous partners since 2002. The 2018 event is a free presentation called “Anishinaabe History as Told Through Wampum Belts” will be held in the Algonquin Theatre starting at 6:30 pm on Thursday June 21.
The town says seating is first-come, first-serve and everyone is welcome to the free presentation.
