Huntsville Raises Crime Stoppers Flag On Thursday
Yesterday, Leslie Woodley, Police Coordinator for Crime Stoppers Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka, joined Bracebridge Mayor Graydon Smith in raising the Crime Stoppers flag at the Town of Bracebridge Municipal Office.
Since 1987, Crime Stoppers Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka has grown to service a vast geographical area, encompassing 110,217 square kilometres and 534,203 residents.
In Huntsville the town will mark the occasion by raising the Crime Stoppers flag on Thursday at 1.30pm.
Crime Stoppers is a civilian, volunteer based crime fighting program which provides a way for the public to anonymously report information about crimes and criminals to the police.
