Kawartha Credit Union Opens New Innovative Branch In Burks Falls
Kawartha Credit Union officials cut the ribbon on its new branch in Burks Falls yesterday, showing off its innovative new settings with private offices to conduct banking instead of teller stations.
The Credit Union likes the concept so much, that they say they will be converting all the their new branches to the new concept in the next few years.
Mayor Cathy Stills cut the ribbon to officially open the new branch saying it was a big boost for the village.
The Burks Falls District Food Bank also got a big boost, in the way of a cheque for $2000 from the Kawartha Credit Union Community Improvement Program.
