Klinck Files Papers For District Chair
Incumbent District Chair John Klinck has filed his papers to seek the position of Chair of the District of Muskoka – a position that will be appointed by a vote of elected District Councilors.
Earlier this year Klinck filed papers to seek the Chair, elected by the general public in the municipal elections held on October 22nd. He was joined by former District Chair Gord Adams and Former Huntsville Mayor Hugh Mckenzie. However, the province scrapped the plan, choosing to return to having councilors elect the chair.
Currently Klink is un-opposed for the top spot.
