MAHC Partners With Technology Provider To Help Share Imaging Records
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) announced today that they have partnered a technology company to provide convenient, secure and simple web access to view and share their imaging records from any device, anywhere.
CEO Natalie Bubela says “Historically, patients would have to order and pick up a compact disc from MAHC’s sites every time they wanted to review new exams with a physician. Bubela says a common-sense replacement for compact discs is the new PocketHealth service.
“PocketHealth empowers patients by providing them with easy access to their own health data and better supports the delivery of imaging and reports to their physicians without a trip to the hospital,” adds Bubela.
Patients can enroll to get access to their imaging records by visiting www.pocket.health/MAHC for a $5 fee at the time of enrolment, and can access their future imaging records anytime for an additional fee.
