MAHC Seeking New Board Members
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is seeking applicants to join their skills-based team of volunteer directors or community member of a standing board committee.
Annually, the Board, through the Nominations Committee, identifies vacancy requirements and conducts a recruitment drive in advance of the Annual General Meeting in June. The MAHC says previous experience on boards with similar scope and challenges would be an asset. The successful candidate’s term would begin immediately following the Annual General Meeting.
In addition to attending monthly board meetings that alternate between hospital sites, board directors must be able to devote at least 20 hours per month for meeting preparation, committee work, and other events for up to a three-year appointment.
