Man Accused In The Death of Huntsville Boy In Court Today
A man accused in the death of 8-year-old Thomas Rancourt of Huntsville, will be in an Oshawa court room today.
38-year-old David Sillars of Etobicoke is facing criminal charges including impaired operation of a vessel causing death, operating a vessel with a blood-alcohol level over 80 milligrams causing death, criminal negligence causing death and dangerous operation causing death.
Thomas Rancourt drowned on the Muskoka River in Bracebridge when the canoe he was in, overturned in the cold water and he went over High Falls in Bracebridge.
The trial is scheduled to commence today in Oshawa.
