
Man charged after damaging marina with an excavator
On Thursday, July 21, just after 9:00 p.m., Bracebridge OPP were dispatched to a marina on Lake Rosseau in Muskoka Lakes Township. When they arrived, officers confirmed there was significant damage done to the property.
According to sources, a building at the Pride of Rosseau Marina was significantly damaged by an excavator by “an angry former employee.” A video shared online show the excavator clawing through walls of the building.
As a result of the investigation, a 59-year-old male of Muskoka Lakes was charged with Mischief Over $5,000.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge at a later date to answer to this charge.
