Man Charged With Impaired After Roll Over

Bracebridge OPP responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on New Year’s Day at 5:00 a.m. on Highway 11 North in Gravenhurst after passersby noticed the vehicle overturned in the ditch and called 9-1-1.
Police say the sole occupant was transported to local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Officers have conducted an investigation into the crash and have charged 40 year-old Brian Viega of Gravenhurst with:
- Operation While Impaired
- Refusal to Provide Breath Sample and
- Failing to Comply with his Probation Order
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on March 16, 2021 to answer to his charges.
