Man Faces List of Charges After Damaging Someone's Front Lawn
On Wednesday, Police (OPP) were dispatched to assist at the scene of a structure fire on Woodlands Avenue in Tay Township.
At 4:58 pm an officer was notified by a member of the public of a possible impaired driver operating a pickup truck that had just damaged an area residents front lawn. Officers located the vehicle nearby and entered into a drinking and driving investigation.
41 year old Jeffery Tell of Tay Township being charged with stealing the pickup truck and:
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
-Driving while Disqualified
-Driving While Ability Impaired
-Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood
-Driving while under suspension
He was released from police custody on a recognizance and to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on September 20, 2018.
