Man's Death Linked To Opioids
Bracebridge OPP are investigating the sudden death of a 29 year-old man in Bracebridge after being called to the residence just after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
OPP say the death is suspected to be related to the use of opioids.
Police are drawing attention to this dangerous situation as agencies across Canada have been investigating deaths believed to have been caused directly or indirectly by the illegal acquisition, distribution, use and misuse of opioids.
This has led to what many are calling a "public health crisis," as numbers of deaths due to overdose continue to rise across the region and the province.
