Metrolinx & Ontario Northland Partner To Offer Another Option To Get To Muskoka From Toronto
The provincial transportation agency Metrolinx is partnering with Ontario Northland to give riders an easier, quicker way to travel to and from cottage country during a trial of the service this August.
Visitors can now board a cottage country-bound GO train that departs Toronto's Union Station every Friday at 5:35 PM, with 9 stops until it reaches the Allandale Waterfront GO Station in Barrie at 7:00 PM.
After that, passengers will board a Northland bus, which will make stops in Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville.
Passengers can take the same exact route home on Sunday evening. The bus will leave Huntsville at 5:20 PM every Sunday, stopping at all the same locations until its final destination at Union Station, at exactly 10:03 PM.
