Miller Announces Funding For Three Local Projects
Last Friday, Norm Miller, MPP for Parry Sound-Muskoka, announced three investments to help create jobs and prosperity in rural and Indigenous communities.
Miller made the announcement t at the Muskoka North Good Food Co-op in Huntsville which is receiving up to $100,000 in funding through the Rural Economic Development program to develop a multi-use commercial kitchen to serve as commercial space for value-add producers. The Township of Lake of Bays is receiving up to $72,490 for an economic development project that will include new municipal branding and a new website. And the Magnetawan First Nation is receiving up to $10,000 for a tourism development study.
Miller said “Our government is proud to support projects that help to grow jobs and open the doors to economic development in rural and Indigenous communities,”
