More candidates file their papers for municipal government
A few more candidates joined the list for Huntsville's up coming municipal election.
Current Brunel Ward Councilors Dan Armour and Bob Stone both filed to run for a District seat. Mark Wilding filed his papers to run in Chaffey Ward. They join Helena Renwick who filed earlier for the Huntsville Ward.
In Bracebridge, Rick Maloney, the current deputy Mayor is running for the top job as mayor, incumbent Don Smith and newcomer Tatiana Sutherland are running for District and incumbent Andrew Struthers is running in the Macaulay Ward.
In Gravenhurst current councilor Terry Pilger is running to replace Mayor Paul Kelly, as is Marc Mantha, who took a run in the last federal elecitons for the Green Party.
Running for District in Gravenhurst is incumbent John Gordon, and hoping to return to the next council table are incumbents Penny Varney and Jo Morphy for Wards 1 and 2 respectfully.
In Lake of Bays, Mayor Terry Glover has filed his papers for the top job.
