Multiple Cars Broken Into, Police Looking For Tips
The Huntsville OPP is looking for tips about a series of thefts from vehicles in the town of Huntsville.
Vehicles in the area of Selkirk Road and Homestead Lane were broken into sometime during the night of July 16th and the early morning hours of July 17th.
Police are asking residents, especially those who live in the Settler's Ridge Subdivision, to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity.
Anyone with information about this occurrence is asked to contact the Huntsville OPP Detachment or the OPP Provincial Communication Centre. Alternatively, info can be given anonymously--with the potential for a cash reward up to two thousand dollars upon arrest--by contacting Crime Stoppers.
Police also remind vehicle owners to keep their doors locked, windows rolled up, and keep loose or valuable items out of sight to avoid being targeted.
