Muskoka Lakes Seeks Feedback On Flood Response
The Township of Muskoka Lakes is looking for input from residents to gain a deeper understanding of the 2019 flood and determine areas of improvement for emergency planning and response.
This spring, the Township experienced exponentially high-water levels that resulted in localized flooding.
The Township is asking for community input and ideas on how it could improve its response to a future flood event and update their Emergency Plan procedures.
A short survey is available online at muskokalakes.ca. Hard copies of the survey are available at the Township Office in Port Carling and the Chamber of Commerce Office in Bala.
The deadline to complete the survey and provide input is Friday, June 28, 2019.
