Nine People Charged After Drug Bust

On Tuesday, January 29th police executed a drug search warrant on William Street in Parry Sound, Ontario.

As a result of the warrant being executed, police seized suspected Cocaine, Crack, Xanax, liquid Codeine, an unknown substance and a homemade firearm. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $12,000. Police also seized $1,800 of currency.

A number of people face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and firearms violations. 

Roarke MCGEOWN, a 21-year-old male from North York, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA, and
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC.

The accused was held for Bail and released on a Recognizance and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Jeremy HUSSEY-BUTLER, a 20-year-old male from Scarborough, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA, and
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the Criminal Code (CC).

The accused was held for Bail and released on a Recognizance and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Joshua COLLINS, a 39-year-old male from Seguin Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA),
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA),
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
  • Breach of Recognizance, contrary to section 811 of the CC.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Diane CULL, a 47-year-old female from Parry Sound, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
  • Fail to comply with conditions of undertaking given by Officer in charge, contrary to section 145(5.1) of the CC.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Samantha FISHER, a 29-year-old female from Parry Sound, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA, and
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Alicia JACKSON, a 31-year-old female from Parry Sound, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA, and
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the Criminal Code (CC).

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Blake MCAMMOND, a 33-year-old male from McDougall Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC,
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition, contrary to Probation order. and
  • Fail to comply with Probation Order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CC.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Morgen STEELE, a 37-year-old male from Parry Sound, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC,
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition, contrary to Probation order, contrary to section 117.0(1) of the CC.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Parry Sound, Ontario on February 28, 2019.

Melissa WILCOX, a 38-year-old female from Parry Sound, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine, contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA,
  • Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(a) of the CC,
  • Possession of firearm or ammunition, contrary to Probation order. and
  • Fail to comply with Conditions of Undertaking given by Officer in charge, contrary to section 145(5.1) of the CC.
