OPP Marine Patrol Charges Boater With Alcohol Offences
On Friday, the OPP Marine Unit were patrolling Isabella Lake in Seguin Township.
Police say that at approximately 8:20 p.m. officers conducted a vessel check and after speaking with the operator, officers detected an odour of alcohol.
The operator registered a "FAIL" on an alcohol screening device and was transported to the detachment for further testing.
A 43 year old Seguin Township man was charged with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Parry Sound Court on August 29, 2019.
