Police arrest man in Downtown Bracebridge with replica handgun

Bracebridge OPP arrested one person in a firearm-related incident in downtown Bracebridge this morning.
Police say at 10:20 a.m., they received a call from a member of the public reporting that a man was standing on the sidewalk at the intersection of Manitoba Street and Taylor Road while holding what appeared to be a handgun.
Police responded very quickly due to public safety concerns and were able to take control of the individual and place them under arrest. Further investigation revealed that the firearm was a replica.
