Police Investigate Pot Brownies Served At Community Luncheon
Police (OPP) are investigating a possible overdose at a community luncheon in Whitestone in Parry Sound District.
OPP say several members of the community required medical attention after attending the community luncheon.
Police spoke to the members that attended and only those that ate the chocolate brownies experienced side effects which were described as dry mouth, dizziness, and disorientation with some experiencing nausea and vomiting.
Police say at this time there is no information that any persons from the event suffered any serious or lasting effects from consuming the cannabis infused brownies.
The investigation is continuing.
