Police nab two people trafficking cocaine

On Friday Bracebridge OPP received two traffic complaints from members of the public about a vehicle travelling on Farquhar Street in Gravenhurst.
Officers located the vehicle at the end of Lorne Street and after an investigation arrested and charged 33 year-old Shannan Green of Gravenhurst with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and two counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
A second involved person, 39 year-old Dwayne Clodd of Gravenhurst, was also charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Occupant of a Motor Vehicle knowing there was a prohibited or restricted weapon.
Each accused will appear in a Bracebridge Court on June 21, 2022 to answer to their charges.
