Proposed Subdivision Is Drawing Fire
A Camel Lake subdivision proposal is drawing fire.
The proposal calls for a total of nine lots, including six shoreline lots on Camel Lake, which is located northeast of Port Carling in Muskoka Lakes Township.
During a recent public meeting held by the District of Muskoka, concerns from residents ranged from negative impacts on water quality, safety of the nearby roadways due to increased traffic, as well as increased traffic on the lake.
The District’s Planning and Economic Development committee must now make a decision on the proposal.
