Protestors for and against gender ideology clash in Huntsville
The "1 Million March 4 Children" hit the streets of Huntsville and across the country yesterday protesting against "gender ideology." Protesters lined the sidewalks along Main Street in front of town hall and in front of Huntsville High School.
A counter-protest with about 50 people included some Huntsville Councilors with both groups yelling at each other at times.
Ontario’s Minister of Education, Stephen Lecce, and Premier Doug Ford have addressed the issue, stating that parents must be involved and informed about what is going on in their children's lives.
Saskatchewan and New Brunswick earlier introduced laws implementing new gender and pronoun policies, that requires parental consent for students under the age of 16 to change their given names and/or pronouns at school.
