Province Sending $6.7 Million to Muskoka/Almaguin Municipalities
Ontario is sending $1.3 Billion in funding to municipalities.
The announcement was made today by the premier, as part of the first phase of the province's Safe Restart Initiative.
The city of Toronto alone is recieving nearly half of the one point three billion--almost $550 million. Just over $400 million is being directed to transit.
Locally, between municipalities in Muskoka and the Almaguin Highlands, $6.7 million is being allocated, with some municipalities recieving funding for transit.
