Province Tightens Regulations For Bars, Restaurants
The Ford government has announced new regulations for bars, restaurants and strip clubs.
In a statement, officials say the new measures were agreed upon in consultation with the Chief Medial Officer of Health.
The new measures prohibit the sale of alcohol after 11 p.m., and prohibit the consumption of alcohol in restaurants, bars and other food and drink establishments and require them to close by midnight except for take out or delivery.
The province also mandated that all strip clubs close across the province.
The province is also requiring businesses or organizations to comply with any advice, recommendations, and instructions issued by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health on screening for COVID-19, including screening individuals who wish to enter their premises.
