Province Wants Input on Changes To District Government
The Province is encouraging the public to participate in a Regional Government review process and provide input into the governance, decision-making, and service functions of the District of Muskoka, to help ensure that municipalities are working effectively and efficiently, and can continue to provide the vital services that communities depend on.
The Province announced yesterday that the public has an opportunity to submit a request to speak to Special Advisors, who will be making recommendations on the future of The District Government, in person, as well as by survey and written submissions formats previously announced.
Meetings with the Advisors will be held on Tuesday, May 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the District Office in Bracebridge.
Organizations or individuals can submit a request to speak through an online form available at www.ontario.ca/regionalgovernment.
