Simcoe Muskoka's Case Count for November 27th
The Simcoe Muskoka District Unit released the case count for November 27th this afternoon, noting 39 new counts of Covid-19 with 1 new case in Gravenhurst. The new case in Muskoka is marked as an 18 to 34-year-old female who acquired the virus through close contact.
Meanwhile, provincially Ontario is reporting a new single day record of 1,855 new cases on Friday.
This is a sharp increase from Thursday’s case numbers, however the province also processed a record number of tests, completing over 58,000.
While the new cases saw a large jump the new COVID-19 related deaths, 20, remains almost exactly the same as a day earlier when 21 deaths were reported.
There are 1,451 more resolved cases.
