Traffic complaint leads to impaired charges for Emsdale man

On Tuesday at approximately 7:00 p.m., members of the Almaguin Highlands OPP responded to a traffic complaint of a possible impaired driver. Shortly after police located the vehicle and driver in Burks Falls.
Police say a 24 year-old Emsdale man had consumed alcoholic beverages and was subsequently arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and
- Having a blood alcohol concentration over 80
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in a Sundridge Court on Thursday July 14.
