Trio Face Drug, Weapons, and Theft Charges After Traffic Stop
The Huntsville OPP arrested 3 people after observing a car being driven with no rear licence plate exiting from Highway #11 onto West Rd. in Huntsville. Police conducted a traffic stop and noted that car did have a front licence plate and their initial investigation showed that the licence plate was stolen. Further investigation resulted in police locating a quantity of a controlled substance and prohibited weapons. A total of 0.25 grams of fentanyl, an expandable baton, and bear spray were seized.
41 year-old Cory Arra of Sundridge, 34 year-old Jake Irwin of Dysart, and 46 year-old Penny Wright of Wasaga Beach face a variety of drug, illegal weapons, and theft charges.
All three accused were released on Undertaking and are to appear in a Huntsville Court on March 17, 2021.
