Two Cocaine Busts In Huntsville
Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Main St. West in Huntsville on Saturday for a routine traffic stop. During the stop it was discovered that the group in the car were in possession of cocaine.
Police say a 48-year-old woman and 37-year-old man, both from Huntsville were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, cocaine under the Controlled Drug and Substances act. The two will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on July 7, 2019.
Then on Sunday, as a result of a traffic complaint, Huntsville OPP stopped a pickup truck and police arrested a 39-year-old man from Huntsville for having possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking. Police say he faces two other charges including possession of proceeds of crime and Operating a Motor Vehicle while Prohibited. He was held for a bail hearing, set for today.
