The incident took place near East Airport and Ferguson Rds
OPP report that a pedestrian was killed in a train-related incident Thursday night in Huntsville, near the intersection of East Airport Road and Ferguson Road.
According to provincial police, the pedestrian was on the tracks at the time and did not survive the collision.
Following the incident, which occurred around 10 p.m., East Airport Road was closed in the area of Orchard Park and Hunters Bay Trail.
Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, OPP say no further details will be released at this time.
East Airport Road reopened several hours later, at approximately 3:30 a.m.
